UFC Fight Night 30: Machida vs Munoz

A decent night(or day depending on the time you saw the event) of fights. The main card started good, got kinda weird in the middle, then the main event delivered, sort of. 

Lyoto Machida vs Mark Munoz was originally scheduled as Munoz vs Michael "The Count" Bisping in Bisping's home country of England. Due to a eye injury "The Count" was forced to withdraw. Lyoto Machida stepped up and took the fight. Friend vs friend as both Machida and Munoz train together in California, and from the start of the fight you can see the awkwardness of knowing you have to punch your friend in the face.

The tentative Munoz circled Machida in the opening minutes of the 1st round. Machida stalking Munoz around the cage. Throwing crisp hard body kicks to Munoz left side. Machida with his leg feints catches the flinching Munoz with a left high kick, drops him. Then Machida ran to connect again but stopped short and realized he knocked out his friend. With great sportsmanship he stood with his friend, no celebration, and waiting till he came to. A cool moment. Lyoto Machida is back.

 Now lets see if he can get another quality win, I can see him vs Vitor Belfort after he fights Dan Henderson. That would be a sick fight. Both fighters have majority of their wins by knockout in the 1st round, among the best in UFC history. Both explosive one punch ko power. The odds might go to Vitor because he's been on a roll, I'd go with Machida if I was betting. If not Belfort give him Jacare, that would be a awesome fight and a main event in Brazil.

The second fight I was hyped to see was Melvin Guillard vs Ross Pearson. Damn on paper this looked like a good o'l slobberknocker but it ended up being a no contest because of an illegal knee thrown by Guillard while Pearson had his hand on the ground. Guillard was killing him and looked like he was gonna finish it. Even though it ended that way they booked a rematch same night, so hopefully Guillard will get that KO I was hoping to see.

Im Back!

Hello There!

   Welcome to another (and sorry for the absence) post from me, me, Infamy! Its been awhile since I've been posting any blogs, approximately a couple years now. While I was in bed last night, I was thinking about how to manage my stress. Im really stressed right now in my life. So to get my mind off shit I decided to dust off the old Blogger account and start writing some shit! 2013 has been a wild year for me, pretty much a blur. A few things I do recall are sports, video games and TV shows. I haven't seen too many movies this year so I'll probably wont mention any. Man the UFC have been on a roll since July. Every week a fight card, either free on FS1 or on PPV. I'm a hardcore sports fan but my guilty pleasure is MMA and in particular the UFC. Football season is at the half way point. Basketball is just around the corner. Sons of Anarchy is just hitting its stride this season. There are a few fall TV shows that I'm starting to get into, I like the junior Master Chef show, and I enjoyed this season of Real World/Road Rules The Challenge on MTV. So I got a few thing to talk about, also I'm going to start doing hashtag days. So #musicmondays #throwbackthursdays #womencrushwednesday and quotes of the day and pics of the day. Men and women....do the exact samething. What I mean by that? Well its like the 'Tortoise and the Hare'. The both going to the same end, but they go about differently. Men want quick fast and to the point. Women...like slow, calm, foundation. Men lie. Women lie. Men cheat. Women cheat. It will never be different. Men want women. We work, to look good for our women, to have a nice apartment for our women. WOMEN work for themselves so they don't have to depend on a man. Women would rather talk all night with a dude that makes them FEEL good emotionally while a dude would fuck, fast and get it over with. Men cheat with our dicks. Women cheat with their heart.

Merc With A Mouth

My favorite Comic character is the great Wade Wilson aka Deadpool. Now even though he was portrayed rather umm....stupid, in Wolverine origins, he is fucking AWESOME. The Merc with a mouth. The character that breaks DOWN the 4th wall. Best marvel guy. Even in Ultimate Alliance the video game he was the best...next to Spidey and Wolvy. Now MARVEL HEAR ME OUT....MAKE A DEADPOOL MOVIE...with Ryan Reynolds...he's a good Deadpool....PLEASE!!!....F.Y.I watch Hulk vs Wolverine Deadpool is in it...funny as hell.

The Dark Knight

As I sit here waiting for 4:00 am to strike....I channel surf through my IO cable DVR box....I spot something called Disney XD.Now when I was younger I would watch Cartoon Network.I Wasnt a Disney guy except for "Fast Foward" that was my shit and Nick...Classrisa explains it all, Doug, Alex Mack, Hidden Temple that was my shiiiiiit so anyway Disney XD, I spot it and low and behold I see "Batman:The Animated Series".Every day after school when I was younger I would turn on Fox 5 around 3:00 3:30 and watch this show. One of my favorite shows alltime...you hear that voice your like o shyt Batman...lol...anyway If ur an Insomniac like me and ur up around 2:30 am watch this channel you will reminise with all the old shows like
X-men, Spider-man, Superman, Jackie Chan all type of shows lol.....I love watching old stuff that makes me think of the good old days=]
